The beauty of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Gros Morne National Park shines in the Spring.

Not only are MOOSE sightings at their highest during Spring, but another whole spectrum of wildlife is in full bloom…the birds of Gros Morne.  Base yourself in the middle of the action at Gros Morne’s premiere waterfront accommodations, The Ocean View Hotel.

What you’ll need:

  • A couple of days off work to start!

  • Transportation to and around Newfoundland & Gros Morne National Park

  • A spotting scope or good set of binoculars…we suggest one each

  • Warm layered clothes, a hat and waterproof hiking boots to keep you comfy

  • A field guide for Gros Morne birds (available here)

  • Your “Life’s List” for birds (or at least a book to track what you’ve seen)
